Kristin, ~ma for Byron, headed your way. Getting the old snip-snip, is he? Or is there some other issue I have forgotten about?

Because books.

Oh, Kristin, I forgot to send Byron big healing vibes. Poor buddy. Hang in there today, sweetie.

Nope, Byron was snipped almost 14 years ago. He's having tumors on his leg removed today. We don't know yet if they are malignant.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Much health~ma for Byron -- both the surgery and that the tumors be something easily treatable -- from us and our pride.

Sorry about that, I was picturing your newer young fellah, totally confused. Well, definitely adding easily treated and not horribly costly ~ma to the general, skilled veterinarian and quick healing ~ma.

Healing vibes to both Byron and the laptop.

I'm feeling very sappy now. I was sniffling because they found the puppy. See the 7th picture here: [link] A firefighter went back and found him under a couch in one of the top floor condos in this: [link]

I was also amused that an art gallery in this same area had many neighbors take them up on their offer of water, wine and wi-fi.

So much ~ma to Byron and Kristin!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Cotton Mills! I love those lofts. But didn't they have an inferno there a while back? I remember parking nearby and watching them rescue workers off the top of cranes. Freak-y.

Ok, I may need to get more sleep, or take vitamins or something. I was getting choked up clicking on stuff at The Hunger Site, etc.

And then I checked out Ginger's link about the puppy, so not helping.

The vet says it could be one of three kind of tumors. One of the three is "extremely difficult to treat" and would likely require a specialist surgeon, and even then the prognosis would not be great. The other two are more treatable. I will know more about today's surgery after 2. Probably won't get official biopsy results on the tumor until Friday. It's starting to hit me how serious this is. Have we mentioned how much we hate cancer lately? Because I'm really torn up about the fact that I didn't notice this until it might be too bad to fully remove.
