OMG, I got my One True Suit last night at Talbots. My cousin works there and I got 50% off. This should show the jacket, the wide legs trousers, and the pencil skirt that I got in "fawn" color.
When I put it on, I look like a real grownup and stuff! Very exciting!
I was coming back to post that!
Great minds think alike, DCJ!
Over the break, while I was here covering the Reference Dept alone I missed people. Now that they are back, nsm.
Also? After 5 weeks, I'm still coughing. I'm on hold with the Dr's office, in the hope that she will prescribe something I'm thinking of as Nuclearmycin.
Ah, baseball.
I am back from Nashville, where I chainsawed the remains of a wooden fence and, with my sister, loaded my truck with it and took it to the dump. Then I visited an unpleasant relative; checked a friend's attic to see if it had enough insulation; and did my mother's and sister's taxes with Taxcut.
Why doesn't anyone ever come to my house and work?
Nuclearmycin
That would be fabulous. I could use some, too.
Congrats, you Boston fans. Your team fought back after a rough start. What a way to start the season.
I was hoping the A's American-Japanese player would end up the hero - bottom of the 10th, down a run, 2 outs, 2 men on.....and he grounds out.
Well, now I can hunt some caffeine and breakfast.
Sorry, Suzi. Are you going to get up crazy early to watch tomorrow too? I'm glad Okajima gets the win in Japan. I think he's been much more valuable to the Red Sox than Dice-K.
Are you going to get up crazy early to watch tomorrow too?
Probably not. I actually didn't mean to do it this morning...darned insomnia.
I actually know what you guys are talking about.(KO reported on the fact that Boston dug their heels in if everybody on the team didn't get paid for it. He was proud of them, which is Yankee heresy, but he's BFF with Francona so I guess he bent the rules.)
Ha! BFF in this context is super funny and makes me think Keith went to his bosses and said "O hai. I'm in yr studio savin yr democracy. I can haz baseball now?"
But I know they don't learn that at Cornell.
So I discovered last night that a longtime friend of mine has achieved her dream of becoming a Bollywood film star. Which is so damn cool.
