It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I rescued a really super sweet kitty last Friday and took her to the shelter.

I was woken up this morning by my two year old neighbor who was wearing only a red cardigan and one pink sock as she banged on my (glass) door while screaming with delight, "TITTY TAT!"

...are you sure it wasn't her cat?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

OK, I made the thumbprint cookies discussed earlier this week, and they are delicious, but not as cute as I might have hoped. I'm thinking I should make another kind, and am considering oatmeal. Do we think most people like raisins in, or not? Or I could do chocolate chips.

Hi Ali!

Happy Birthday Annabel and Amy!

Jesse, I think you should make chocolate crinkles-- they are my go to cookie(although I think the dough might have to chill- I haveb't really made cookies a lot since high school)

All oatmeal cookies should have raisins

These chocolate crinkles? They look delicious! But seem a little ambitous.

Raisinets!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I've got an old desk I'm trying to get rid of. It's about 2 1/2 by 4 feet, and pretty heavy, even when it's taked apart (it's solid wood.) I tried freecycle, and can't find any takers. I checked the Goodwill website, and they won't pick up any donations smaller than approximately the contents of two rooms. Any ideas on how to get rid of this thing? I don't think my building has anywhere to just throw out something this big, and anyway, it's still in perfectly good condition.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I got rid of a semi-broken TV by putting it my building's lobby, with a note. I would have put it out by the trash eventually, but it was gone in a couple of hours. Actually, I got the desk I have now in a similar manner -- I was going out one day and there was a note about a desk for sale. By the time I got back, the note said the desk was now free and in the basement with the trash. Sweet. I just bet someone in your building would take it -- is there a place to put a note?
