Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I got rid of a semi-broken TV by putting it my building's lobby, with a note. I would have put it out by the trash eventually, but it was gone in a couple of hours. Actually, I got the desk I have now in a similar manner -- I was going out one day and there was a note about a desk for sale. By the time I got back, the note said the desk was now free and in the basement with the trash. Sweet. I just bet someone in your building would take it -- is there a place to put a note?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Both good ideas! I'll try putting up a sign by the laundry room -- that's the only place I've seen signs like that. And the Salvation Army looks like it doesn't have the same pickup restrictions as Goodwill does.

Because books.

Jesse, I make those cookies every year at Christmas, and they're totally easy. So delicious, too.

Mmm, now I want chocolate crinkles...

Hil, I was going to suggest putting it out on the street and figuring a college student would pick it up, but that might not work quite as well in your neighborhood (the leaving, not the picking up)

I don't think I'll have enough time to properly chill the dough for the crinkles after work, though. Next time!

Yeah, I don't think that picking it up would work too well, either. This thing is heavy. When I was moving in, I'd taked the legs off, and my father and I had to each hold one end of the top part to be able to move it. It's not really the sort of thing someone could pick up and take home without a friend and a car.

Damn you! Now I want cookies. Period. EVIL.

I can't want cookies. I'm busy trying to lose weight again. No cookies.

But, Jesse, if I were in a cookie making place, I'd make oatmeal chocolate chip. favorites!

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I ate an entire tray of purple peeps bunnies all by myself yesterday so no cookies for me.

I have cookies out in my car. But I'm not going out to get them.

Because I'm weird like that.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I think you should make chocolate crinkles

Which are not *quite* as tasty as chocolate KPRINKLES.
