I am annoyed that my SSN endes with 92, because I am in the last batch of electronic deposits. I also think the whole thing is dumb, but I still want my $600.

Goddamnit, why can't I get a simple yes or no answer? I keep getting a non-answer, ahrg.
You know, despite the fact that I'm not a big believer in the "stimulus" package, I'm quite annoyed that, although I filed in early February, I'm in the last batch to receive a check.
Isn't this just because the people that paid or received electronically are going to get theirs electronically?
I think it sucks that I have to pay AND get my money last. Not fair!

This might be stupid but where do you find out when you receive your check? And how much it will be? I feel like I should know this!

I know! Though I guess it just gives me more time to come up with something to spend it on that carries a good whiff of "IN YOUR FACE GWB" to it. Might be donations, might be tattoos. Maybe I'll get gay married.

Well, I doubt that if you paid by credit card, you'll get a credit to that. I didn't see any place on my "owe" form where I could have them debit my account directly.
Mostly, this just adds to my annoyance that you can't pay for free unless you pay by check, so that's actually why I'm in the last batch.
Taxes just annoy me this year. California wouldn't let me file electronically for free since I was only a part-year resident. So I'm still waiting for my refund from them as well. Which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't take eight weeks to process returns.
Crap, I haven't done my taxes yet. I usually do them much earlier. I guess that is this weekend's task.

I think they just released it this morning or last night. Direct deposit filers first, then paper check. Within those, it goes in order of the last two digits of your SSN.
