Doesn't matter that we took him off that boat, Shepherd, it's the place he's going to live from now on.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I am annoyed that my SSN endes with 92, because I am in the last batch of electronic deposits. I also think the whole thing is dumb, but I still want my $600.

I know! Though I guess it just gives me more time to come up with something to spend it on that carries a good whiff of "IN YOUR FACE GWB" to it. Might be donations, might be tattoos. Maybe I'll get gay married.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Isn't this just because the people that paid or received electronically are going to get theirs electronically?

Well, I doubt that if you paid by credit card, you'll get a credit to that. I didn't see any place on my "owe" form where I could have them debit my account directly.

Mostly, this just adds to my annoyance that you can't pay for free unless you pay by check, so that's actually why I'm in the last batch.

Taxes just annoy me this year. California wouldn't let me file electronically for free since I was only a part-year resident. So I'm still waiting for my refund from them as well. Which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't take eight weeks to process returns.

Crap, I haven't done my taxes yet. I usually do them much earlier. I guess that is this weekend's task.

This might be stupid but where do you find out when you receive your check?

I think they just released it this morning or last night. Direct deposit filers first, then paper check. Within those, it goes in order of the last two digits of your SSN.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm currently annoyed because apparently there was an error on my W-2 so I have to wait for my HR department to issue new ones before I can file. (The silver lining is that apparently our local income #s were overstated, so I may be in better shape than I thought for NY taxes, but still, annoying.)

Nice! I'm planning on giving part of mine to whoever is the Dem nominee.

Ooh! Maybe I'll go to Mexico. We hate the Mexicans now, right?

Or Freedomrance! How un-American would that be?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

How pathetic is it that I'm super relieved that my minion just put in a leave request for July? (If I were her, I would be looking for a new job already, since she's been here just about a year.)
