So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bastards! How can we know the best way to make fun of them if they don't pay for the bandwidth so all the make-fun-ers can visit?

I get the feeling it's a spoof.

Sometimes when I see an internet fetish thingie like that (or like the thing for gay men who like men with lots of legs) I wonder if there's just one person in the world who's into the fetish, and that person makes a website implying there's more, hoping to find a few more kindred spirits....

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Yeah, the erotic falconry site has been down probably since Boing Boing got to it last friday.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Kat, I really want to visit you guys this weekend.

Be sure to visit the IKEA bed that caused me greivous injury.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Is it wrong to put Roman outside and let Roman (part aussie shepherd) run the dog (which is part cocker spaniel) into the ground?

Hey, it may be the only way to teach the owners to keep their dog in their own yard.

I wonder if there's just one person in the world who's into the fetish, and that person makes a website implying there's more, hoping to find a few more kindred spirits....

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I neglected to report the dream I had last week about Amy and Joe.

Their computer had a hose and spigot attached to it which dispensed coffee.

But you still had to go online and buy it from Starbucks.

But you did have the convenience of the coffee hose coming right out of your computer.

Oooh, the three o'clock lull as Easties head home.

Lunch Report: I went to El Trebol in the Mission. I used to go there all the time back in the 80s when I was obsessed with finding great sit down meals for under $5.

Well the prices have gone up. It cost me $5.99 for a Pollo Emcellabondo (sic?) plate. Fried chicken (no coating, just crispy skin. Perfectly done - juicy but not greasy) with onions. Comes with generous portions of rice, beans and salad plus two torillas. So good! And $5.99.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Oooh, the three o'clock lull as Easties head home.

Damn straight. Eat it, still at work people!

Ooh, that sounds yummy! I had one of those soup cups you add water to. But it was curry lentil couscous! Which was yummy, and which they had stopped carrying in DC a few years ago...

Now I think I will throw clothes in the washer, so I have something to wear out dancing tonight. First for an hour of East Coast Swing lessons. Then an hour of West Coast Swing lessons. Then two hours of social dancing at the leather bar (mostly two-step, some line dancing and waltzing)

Friday online shopping report: I just got I, Claudius, Apollo 13, and 101 Dalmatians from Amazon. IC was only $37, so I had to buy it, and the other two were because I was weak and they were cheap.
