We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Speaking of Muppets, today, the Chicago Tribune refers to a comment made by some Irish musician PTB who says that "Danny Boy" should be banned for being too depressing.

Well, I say, watch this!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Did you ever delgate a boring, repetitive task to someone-- a task that, though boring and repetitive, needs to be done accurately and is very important. And then you don't check on them for awhile. And then you need the information quickly and realize that they have screwed up a key componant which means you have to go through each and every entry, copy, etc for the past three months making sure they are accurate.

All. The. Time.

And then I get chewed out by the Big Boss for not delegating more often.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I had an unpleasant incident with the rude-but-talented guy in two of my classes this morning and I don't know what to think about it. He sits directly behind me -- I was leaning back, with plenty of room to spare between me and the front of his desk, and idly scratching the back of my scalp as one does when one is preoccupied and thinking.

"That's DISGUSTING" he said loudly. "That's unhygienic! Stop doing that!"

2 questions, because I'm still upset -- on a 1-10 scale, how disgusting is it for somebody to scratch or fuss with their clean scalp/hair? My second question is how much of an asshole is he, but the first answer depends on it....

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

And now I've gone to a ... place. You people.

I went there too, sadly.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Theo...if it's disgusting then I am a sewer of disgusting disgustingness. I scratch my head when I think often.

Two: He is a ginormous fuckmonster of an asshole and should be shot in the face immediately. Please see to that.

Theo - he's a tool and probably has no friends.

He should be thankful to sit behind you clean and lovely head.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

"That's DISGUSTING" he said loudly. "That's unhygienic! Stop doing that!"

That's not disgusting. This is disgusting: When I was in my 9th grade English class, sometimes I would retract the lead in my Eversharp mechanical pencil, run the tip through my scalp and then extend the lead until it pushed out the tiny white cylinder of scalp gunk....

I think I only did that a couple of times. Then I noticed a kid watching me, which made me realize how gross that must look so I stopped doing it.

I've been too ashamed to ever tell that story to anyone. Except to you people....
