Saffron: You won't tell anyone about me breaking down? Mal: I won't. Saffron: Then I won't tell anyone how easily I got your gun out of your holster. Mal: I'll take that as a kindness.

Librarian Warlord

bonny from way back:

I'd love to see you guys if you can make it, but seriously? I'm not expecting a big turnout if it's nasty.

We're hoping to send Sass to daycare tomorrow so we can do a big push on getting the last boxes unpacked at home. Perhaps we'll even hang a picture! That would mean we're picking her up and will be in the car right about the time you and Bartelby would be getting ready for your talk!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Jessica, that's AWESOME! The blue guy is apparently ribbed for her pleasure.

I see Ohio is expecting snowpocalypse. I'm sure there is currently a stampeded to the stores for bread, milk and toilet paper.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had all these big plans for my parents' visit this weekend, and now it's going to be raining starting tonight and all day tomorrow, apparently, so there go all of my nice walking-around-New-York plans. Feh!

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Ooh, the condom video is just lovely.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Am I the only person on earth who finds her iPod insufferable?

Its a shuffle. I'm trying to put the play list on the device in a particular order. Every time I move a song the fucking thing syncs again.

It's not a bug, it's a feature.

No, really. The shuffle is set up to work this way because it has no display. (At least that's what they say - I don't know why. But they even named it Shuffle.) So you gotta like random play.

Umm... I've never owned a shuffle, so I don't know if there's a way around this.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You need to set up your playlist before you plug the Shuffe in. If you do it while connected it's going to make each change as you do.

Punishingly Intricate

My two sisters got pregnant (and gave birth) two days apart.

My brothers' babies are a month and a day apart. And my aunt and my uncle's wife gave birth a day apart (21 years ago! yikes...I'm old). And my sister-in-law and her sister gave birth 2 days apart.

I've already flipped out about an absurdly placed semi-colon this morning. Does that bode ill or well for my day? I really don't know.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

One of my cow-workers just skipped down the hall in happiness because her size 2 pants were too big for her and she is all excited about having to get a size zero. Why does it matter? Except that it annoyed the piss out of me

It took me forever to get used to the ipod track thingie to move up and down on a list. I kept doing it backwards. I felt like my grandma trying to program a VCR!

My cousin knew this guy whose wife and mistress got pregnant at the same time. They actually went into labor at the same time... at the same hospital!

Wait, that was a Dudley Moore movie....

Our wings are not tired.

It's Spring! (well, I have flowers all year, but these just popped up this week) [link]

My sisters gave birth um, 20 years before I did. You'd think I would have headed their warnings.
