Bible story comix featuring giant killer robots
Mecha Manga Bible Heroes is a series of graphic novels featuring "action-packed mecha-manga art and adventure-filled tales from the Old Testament." Shown here, the cover for #1, the David and Goliath issue.
The characters, stories and themes remain the same. Only the setting has changed – to a futuristic world of robots, aliens and advanced technology!
I dunno - Goliathbot looks kinda' lame....
Happy birthday, Jon B!
"Emergency"
Oh hell yeah! Remember the one where the plane crashed into a neighborhood? There was a boy trapped in his house!
what can I do with it that's not bread- or pasta-based?
Make some fresh pesto, maybe.
roast that garlic! You can squeeze roasted garlic into mashed potatoes. Or make this: [link]
which I made a couple days ago and is salty, but good. Also, I've never actually made this, but "chicken with 40 cloves of garlic"
[link] would use up about forty of those cloves of garlic.
"Tek War"
seriously? that piece of crap?
I have a cooking question, too! I bought too much garlic, and was thinking of roasting some of it, but what can I do with it that's not bread- or pasta-based?
I like to make a baba ganoushish thing by roasting garlic, eggplant, and red onion and blendering them together. Yum!
I'm off the white food, which is what is stumping me. I want to eat roasted garlic plain on bread! But no bread for me. And I hate eggplant, as you should know, food-opposite.
Maybe I'll do the 40 garlic chicken this weekend. That would be fun.
"chicken with 40 cloves of garlic"
Le yum.
More generally, you can use roasted garlic almost anywhere you'd use raw -- and since the flavor is much milder, you can use considerably more of it, so you'll get rid of it that much faster.
"chicken with 40 cloves of garlic"
Blankly stares at the screen with his mouth wide open, with a stream of drool going out the side.
