Happy Birthday, Jon!!!

I'm having people over to watch ANTM tonight and I have NO idea what to make for dinner. Should be vegetarian. And easy since I'll only have an hour or so to pull it together. Any suggestions, Natterinos?

6.7" seems longer than my soup spoons, which is a start.

Maybe you should look for ice tea spoons? These [link] look to be 9+ inches.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Man, I used to love "Emergency" - my brothers and I would watch it in repeats after school.

Me too. Although the only episode I can remember now is the lady who got her big toe stuck in the bathtub faucet....

I hate today. I need to start packing up my files in preparation for our move upstairs, but all I want to do is slump over my keyboard and enjoy the fact that my office isn't a meat locker today.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'd be scared to watch the A-Team now, given what an important role it played in my childhood! When my grandfather was in the nursing home, we always played A-Team when we brought him home for the day -- breaking Hannibal out of the big house, you know.

Lisa, I'd go with some sort of pasta/veggie situation, or a bean-based mexican something. Tostadas? You can make (I mean, let) people make their own.

hah! I remember someone getting a finger caught in one of the old pull tabs from a beer can. Or possibly choking on one? There was an episode with a pull tab anyway. And I swear there was one where a girl had a big bruise on her leg and then it turned into an EMERGENCY! because it was a burst blood clot or something. To this day I'm afraid that will happen to me! (considering the way I bruise)

Pasta w/ veggies is the easiest. And always delish!

I'm also thinking of doing lavash pizzas since I have some things at home to use as toppings already (tomato sauce, sundried tomatoes, arugula, pinenuts, etc.).

Ooh, that would be good!

I have a cooking question, too! I bought too much garlic, and was thinking of roasting some of it, but what can I do with it that's not bread- or pasta-based?

Those words make no sense to me.
