I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just have my perpetual mild nasal congestion/post-nasal drip.

I have a secret theory that my insane allergies somehow help me not catch the ick that goes around every year. Like, my immune system is already revved up to fight the allergens, and the ick just bounces right off.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I know for a fact that my use of nasal saline spray (which speeds up the mucus so it can do its cleaning schtick) has cut way back on my common cold and flu rate.

Today I decided that I'm not going to take caffeine or painkillers. So far, I've gone back to bed for three hours and fallen fast asleep, so I'm off to a good start, sort of.

Today I have gone to work, gotten my nails done and my eyebrows waxed, run a couple of boring errands, and stopped by my favorite coffee place twice (once before work, and once after nails). I feel both productive and indulged. This is a good feeling.

I believe that I am over my ick, except maybe for some slight residual chest clearing, so I am thankful for that. I hope the rest of you get over yours quickly.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The ick (mild headcold since Wednesday) seems tobe departing from my household as well. Today I have changed linens and put up laundry, with grocery shopping and dishes yet to come..

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I felt like mild death yesterday - muscle aches and tired. last night in bed at 10:30, finally git up for good today at 11:30 - WHEE. still do not feel like doing much.

I am trying to get pictures printed so mac can put together his science project display, but my printer has just run out of color ink. AWESOME! in that not at all way. I can only think of one place in the neighborhood that might have it. I so do not want to go out, but really do not want to go out and discover they do not have it. and no, I dont't have their number.

I weakened and took a quarter-pill of generic No-Doz (that's about half a cup of coffee-worth) which is helping clear up the fuzzies nicely.

The world is melting nicely off the nearby rooftops but we've still got a ways to go until bare ground again....

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's gorgeous here -- not too cold, sunny, and there is still some snow around. I should be doing more outside stuff, but instead I have many days' worth of food cooking -- three chicken breasts with many cloves of garlic (if not the full 40), and a big pot of chili. I am feeling very satisfied.

Ha! I now have a reasonable amount left.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

You guys! I had a good celebrity sighting last night! Was at Mexico City restaurant in Los Feliz (or Silverlake?) and in walks Lauren Graham. HOTT! She (and the couple she was with) sat in the booth across from us.
