"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I'm pretty sure the writing staff on Spongebob is thrilled to know there's a rectal thermometer on the market with Bob L'Ponge on it.

If that's not a Phillip J Frye quote, it ought to be.

::sends resume to Futurama writing staff::

Am back from walking. Have survived, but have now gone from huddled under mountains of blankets to sprawled in my underwear trying not to sweat to death. Fun.

Sexayy!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Kat, give a holler if you want any help tomorrow!

I'm so out of it. Tucking the kids into bed often puts me in the need for bed myself. Yawn.

Our wings are not tired.

Happy moving day! May it be quicker and easier than anticipated. Also, peanut butter on pancakes = yum. Then again, peanut butter always = yum for me.

No ick! I'm forcing feeding OJ and expectorant to the family today. They want to go to state basketball finals later this week, but if they take off school for the ick they can't take off school for the sports.

Feel better, all. Good Sunday.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I seem to have missed the ick what's going around, well at least so far. I just have my perpetual mild nasal congestion/post-nasal drip. I just through a fair amount of tissues, but that's all.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I just have my perpetual mild nasal congestion/post-nasal drip.

I have a secret theory that my insane allergies somehow help me not catch the ick that goes around every year. Like, my immune system is already revved up to fight the allergens, and the ick just bounces right off.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I know for a fact that my use of nasal saline spray (which speeds up the mucus so it can do its cleaning schtick) has cut way back on my common cold and flu rate.

Today I decided that I'm not going to take caffeine or painkillers. So far, I've gone back to bed for three hours and fallen fast asleep, so I'm off to a good start, sort of.

Today I have gone to work, gotten my nails done and my eyebrows waxed, run a couple of boring errands, and stopped by my favorite coffee place twice (once before work, and once after nails). I feel both productive and indulged. This is a good feeling.

I believe that I am over my ick, except maybe for some slight residual chest clearing, so I am thankful for that. I hope the rest of you get over yours quickly.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The ick (mild headcold since Wednesday) seems tobe departing from my household as well. Today I have changed linens and put up laundry, with grocery shopping and dishes yet to come..
