I'm catching up on this show. Good lord, this show.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
The dude I'm most disturbed by is the self mutilating, doll collecting, cross-dressing, dead girl tea party having butler. Dude is creepy as all get out!
I am strangely fond of him as a character. I want a x-over where he and Drusilla have a tea party.
Conversations that happen while House 'o Reason catches up on Coven episodes:
Me, watching Marie Laveau perform a ritual, "I wonder who those veves are for? I think that one is--"
Pete, interrupting me, "NO. Be quiet. I don't want to know, and I hope they didn't use real symbols."
Veve! That's the word! I learned it from Gabriel Knight.
I like the way that it feels like it takes place in New Orleans. Usually stuff is filmed there, but not set there, or it's set there in such a stereotypical way. It's got a good sense of place for me.
Though I will say, if the school is in the Garden District and Madam LaLaurie's house is in the Quarter, no way Kathy Bates walked there, especially since she doesn't understand things like cars and traffic signals.
Wasn't Fiona leading her on that trip?
No, it was the one where Fiona found her sitting dejectedly outside of her house after...telepathic girl whose name I don't remember let her out of Fiona's room.
They could be just taking poetic license and assuming most viewers don't know the geography, I guess.
I can't wait for tonight's episode.
Oh, sure. It's hardly the most egregious example of crunching New Orleans geography I've ever seen.
Is this episode five or six? I hate these mini-seasons, only because they're over too quickly. I feel like the clock is ticking from the first scene.
