How long have they been married? Do we know?
Is he a warlock?
Book ,'Objects In Space'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

The monster comment was definitely a clue to something. Not sure he practices witchcraft, though -- so far even the most "monstrous" men in this series don't seem to have their own mojo.
I think it's unlikely that someone who hasn't killed before would take a handgun with silencer to a first-time internet hookup and blow her away without so much as flinching.
Right, but that's also why I don't think he's a *serial* killer in the usual sense. He's more like a hitman. I don't think (yet) there's any reason to believe this is a ritual he carries out every Halloween.
Maybe he's doing something really weird, like harvesting the girl's eggs or something.
In this world, I'll bet the killing has to do with some sort of magic, even if he is not casting the spells himself. Maybe he'll turn out just to be a hitman, but I'm guessing spell connected murder. Maybe ingredients for a spell? And I'll bet there is a reason he has killed two Halloweens in a row. There is really strong reason to think he killed last Halloween. Not 100%, but at least 50/50.
I was mostly disappointed when he pulled the gun after she set him up with a perfect line about breaking her heart. I was waiting for, "No, I'm going to break your neck."
Anyway, like I said: All the men are monsters.
Spaulding definitely stepped up to the plate in that regard this week.
I definitely assumed hubby meant literally when he mentioned that he was a "monster" for Halloween last year. I mean, we've had a dude running around with the head of a bull and the body of a man and a zombie frat boy. I find it plausible that hubby was a literal monster at some point and either Fiona (or maybe Julia herself) turned him into a man. Maybe he has to sacrifice someone every Halloween to stay de-monstered.
Is that true? No idea, but I like it and I'm gonna stick with it until the show gives us more.
The dude I'm most disturbed by is the self mutilating, doll collecting, cross-dressing, dead girl tea party having butler. Dude is creepy as all get out!

I have to agree, kat.

ME TOO.
