Veve! That's the word! I learned it from Gabriel Knight.
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
I like the way that it feels like it takes place in New Orleans. Usually stuff is filmed there, but not set there, or it's set there in such a stereotypical way. It's got a good sense of place for me.
Though I will say, if the school is in the Garden District and Madam LaLaurie's house is in the Quarter, no way Kathy Bates walked there, especially since she doesn't understand things like cars and traffic signals.
Wasn't Fiona leading her on that trip?
No, it was the one where Fiona found her sitting dejectedly outside of her house after...telepathic girl whose name I don't remember let her out of Fiona's room.
They could be just taking poetic license and assuming most viewers don't know the geography, I guess.
I can't wait for tonight's episode.
Oh, sure. It's hardly the most egregious example of crunching New Orleans geography I've ever seen.
Is this episode five or six? I hate these mini-seasons, only because they're over too quickly. I feel like the clock is ticking from the first scene.
So Marie Laveau gave Delia the sight?
For a second, my heart ached for Delphine. That was uncomfortable.
Go, Zoe! New supreme?, and also awesome with a chainsaw!
This show is so messed up that I found this episode relatively tame all things considered. I think AHS Coven broke my fucked up-o-meter.
In the Fiona vs. Creepy Husband match up, I am Team Fiona all the way. That moment with milky eyed Julia seeing hubby on his killing spree did make me jump a little bit. Everything at the hospital was nicely creepy.
Madame has mellowed a lot in the few days she's actually been out of that box. I guess a couple hundred years buried alive affords a lot of time for self reflection.
Angela Bassett can rock a turban like few others. That's a true fact.
