That was so WTF I couldn't believe what I was watching.
Buffy ,'Chosen'
The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
OK, when I first tuned into this season it had a decades-old, possibly ghostly serial killer, a Nazi-esque doctor turning people into subhuman freaks, and alien abductions. As of last night it's added to those a demonically-possessed nun reinacting The Thorn Birds, a miracle baby, the Angel of Death, and a big Glee-style musical number in the middle of an insane asylum.
What's next, Godzilla dancing the tango with a giant kitchen sink?
Don't forget that we've also had Anne Frank, Murder Santa, an amputated nymphomaniac, people sandwiches, and a guardian microcephalic. This show puts the "cray" in cray-cray.
WTF
I KNOW! I really need to start watching this show.
I...yeah.
Seriously, after last night I'm willing to name it the silver medal winner in television craziness (after Farscape, of course).
It's so bananas. I had to ask my mother what that damn song was a few weeks ago -- Dominique, by the Singing Nun, if I'm not the last person to know that -- but anyway, every time I mention the show to her, I'm like, "THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION FOR YOU."
That musical number was awesome.
but anyway, every time I mention the show to her, I'm like, "THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION FOR YOU."
I feel like that every time I read about, especially here. I can't do horror. Because it really scares me. Even reading about this show creeps me out and there is probably no higher praise from someone who can never, ever watch it.
