Mal: Well said. Wasn't that well said, Zoe? Zoe: Had a kind poetry to it, sir.

'Out Of Gas'

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I...yeah.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Seriously, after last night I'm willing to name it the silver medal winner in television craziness (after Farscape, of course).

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's so bananas. I had to ask my mother what that damn song was a few weeks ago -- Dominique, by the Singing Nun, if I'm not the last person to know that -- but anyway, every time I mention the show to her, I'm like, "THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION FOR YOU."

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

That musical number was awesome.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

but anyway, every time I mention the show to her, I'm like, "THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION FOR YOU."

I feel like that every time I read about, especially here. I can't do horror. Because it really scares me. Even reading about this show creeps me out and there is probably no higher praise from someone who can never, ever watch it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

And it turns out once again that Cass and I are unexpectedly as one. I find horror way too scary to watch most of the time, but I find the discussion here a too intriguing to ignore.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

The show has literally given me nightmares, which is not something that's ever happened to me with TV before.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I have an American Horror Story Season One Question-- sort of a 2 parter-- in the opening scene, Addie tells the two twins that they are going to die in the house, and the house is very dilapadated. So for awile I assumed that the Langdons had always lived next door. However, they clearly lived in the house in the 90's, right? So did they buy it and fix it up? What did I miss?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Dammit - I was minding my own business, and suddenly I missed Hank and Britt. Dammit again. Never going to get over my bitterness on lack of DVDs.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Netflix has Terriers, Frank. Streaming or disc. IJS.

ETA: And Amazon has it for purchase on Instant Watch (Ahem).
