but anyway, every time I mention the show to her, I'm like, "THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION FOR YOU."
I feel like that every time I read about, especially here. I can't do horror. Because it really scares me. Even reading about this show creeps me out and there is probably no higher praise from someone who can never, ever watch it.
And it turns out once again that Cass and I are unexpectedly as one. I find horror way too scary to watch most of the time, but I find the discussion here a too intriguing to ignore.
The show has literally given me nightmares, which is not something that's ever happened to me with TV before.
I have an American Horror Story Season One Question-- sort of a 2 parter-- in the opening scene, Addie tells the two twins that they are going to die in the house, and the house is very dilapadated. So for awile I assumed that the Langdons had always lived next door. However, they clearly lived in the house in the 90's, right? So did they buy it and fix it up? What did I miss?
Dammit - I was minding my own business, and suddenly I missed Hank and Britt. Dammit again. Never going to get over my bitterness on lack of DVDs.
Netflix has Terriers, Frank. Streaming or disc. IJS.
ETA: And Amazon has it for purchase on Instant Watch (Ahem).
I just read the AHS recaps. I watched a few last season, 'cause hey, bondage suit! but yeah, horror & I are not friends. I find it, uh, horrifying. But I like knowing what they're doing.
No thoughts on the last two eps of AHS? Is everyone too horrified to speak?
I'm somewhere in between, I think. The season isn't wrapping up as neatly as I thought last season did, but I guess I should wait till next week to see. I'm heartbroken for Jude, mostly, and for Kit. And I want to smack Lana.

I'm not sure I remember now! I think when Addie warned the twins it was after the Langdons had moved next door, and it had to the 80s at that point. Late 80s, probably. Now I need to look it up.
The title card says 1978 for the opening with the twins. That is what is so confusing!
Huh. But that would make Addie ... about 42 when she died, if we assume she was eight in that flashback. I don't think she was that old, was she?
I looked up the Wiki for Season One, but it's not clear who lived where when, aside from the Harmons and Chad and his boyfriend.
