The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

But somehow elevating the vagina dentata to a cleansing power of fury that kills all the bad guys?

This was going to be in Firefly? I missed the special. Could someone expand on what this would've been about?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

You know that mysterious syringe we saw Inara with? It's a radioactive spider bite for the vajayjay. So when the Reavers come on board and opt to rape first, kill later (silly Reavers!), she pulls a reverse Sam Winchester and they all bite the bucket.

Except, oh noes--Sam's peen comes with a two for one fridging special! So she's beat up and dying, but at least Mal finally calls her something other than whore.

And, curtain.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I flipped out like a mammal when he told me about it. So, she's going to be gang-raped by two hundred reavers, but then Mal is going to kiss her hand and we'll all go, "aw, isn't Mal a nice guy?" And then Inara will continue to be a sex worker in the next episode, because I'm sure this will have no lasting consequences for this character...

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

I was totally OK with assuming that syringe was just a clean, painless suicide method should Serenity be boarded.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like that they dig the dark, and that's one of the things I like most about Tim's ability to bring to a story and make hurt even though you thought you had nothing invested.

But not that way. Nope.

Yikes.

Because books.

American Horror Story: I love that this season is exploring insanity itself, and what the definition of it is.

I am sort of disappointed about that other thing, though.
