See, I spent the first ep waiting for the daughter to die.
I'm not totally sold, but will give it some time. I like the two main characters; anything else feels too soon to say.
Anya ,'Touched'
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

When Hank (?did I get the name right, the bearded guy?) first got the phone call towards the end and it was obvious that something was really, really wrong, I expected it to be the daughter that had died. Not because of Tim's involvement, but I expected the henchmen to have caught up with her.
I can't decide if that's a dubious distinction or not. What do I win?

Big Bang Theory, too
billprady I just watched #Terriers -- if you want a master class in dialogue and character, watch it, too. I think FX is going to rerun the pilot.
I liked Terriers. It's always good to see Rachael Miner getting some work.
