Jayne: That's a good idea. Good idea. Tell us where the stuff's at so I can shoot you. Mal: Point of interest? Offering to shoot us might not work so well as an incentive as you might imagine.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Leverage just tweeted a shout out --so that's good.

@jonrog1 Okay, TERRIERS, you are officially %150 more ROCKFORD than the ROCKFORD reboot. I dig you.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Big Bang Theory, too

billprady I just watched #Terriers -- if you want a master class in dialogue and character, watch it, too. I think FX is going to rerun the pilot.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I liked Terriers. It's always good to see Rachael Miner getting some work.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hi! Oh, Timness, I have missed you. I loved some of the dialogue. "I want to be a drier person." And I do find the two main characters compelling.

I too thought the daughter was going to bite it, especially with the "we saved her, who`s gonna save us" line. So I tie for morbidity? Although I was not expecting the body, so then I remembered that I was watching a Tim show.

I like a good solid unreliable narrator. Oh, and I didn`t get the right ex-partner vibe off those two. But I like the setup, mostly. Although I should warn the guy with the girlfriend that we got a dog as a precursor to children, and it`s been six years now. Having the dog didn`t convince us not to have kids, but it also didn`t make us have them either.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

"I want to be a drier person."

I liked that line too.

I didn't see Tim's name anywhere in the credits, though. Did he have his hand in the pilot at all?

Art Crawl!!!

Well, I think you should warn the girlfriend: she's the one that wants a baby.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Oh hell, that means she's going to get pregnant and THEN a bad guy is going to kill her. Maybe after the father has agreed to a name.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Winston.

I give it a thumbs up. It was easy to get into, I liked the characters, I came to care for them quickly, it had great dialogue and its potential for pain is huge. I thought for a few seconds when Hank went into the liquor store he was buying for himself. I've definitely got my DVR set to record it.
