Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

'Never Leave Me'

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Thanks all for the well wishes. I slept for about 12 hours and now feel totally normal again.

It was suggested that stress could've also played a role in the not-a-heart-attack attack. (Stressed? Who, me?) So I think I need to find some cheap de-stressing activities.

Sounds like they did the full court press with you, so it shows they it took it seriously...

It was weird. Everyone seemed very calm and I was thinking that meant it was probably nothing and they were going to send me home soon. Then the ER doctor came over and, still quite calm, said, "We're very concerned and want to run a million tests and probably admit you for the night."

On the bright side, I've meaning to schedule a physical. Since they ran every test imaginable, including stuff a GP would never do, I can probably put that off for a little while now.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yikes, Kristen! I'm glad everything turned out okay.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Please to not be collapsing anytime in the near future, Kristen!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

They probably find it's not a good idea to freak out their heart attack patients even more. I'm glad it wasn't a heart attack, Kristen, and that you're feeling better!

Good idea, because, y'know? This thread title? Wasn't really meant to be a guide to life or anything...

It's officially over.

The members of the Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW) and Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) today put their final stamp of approval on the deal that ended their 14-week strike, giving writers new rights and protections for work distributed on and created for the Internet and other new media platforms.

An overwhelming majority of the WGA membership voted in favor of ratifying the three-year contract by 93.6 percent of 4,060 votes cast in Los Angeles and New York. The term of the agreement is from February 13, 2008 through May 1, 2011.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kristen, I'm glad you're ok. I strongly suggest finding a nice yoga DVD that you can do at home. Yoga's done wonders for my stress levels.

I'm trying yoga on Saturday! We have an Intro to Yoga class at my gym on the first of every month. My trainer's been pushing me to do yoga for weeks. I need to work on my flexibility.

I will confess that I would much rather be hitting people on Saturday morning but my knee is twitchy so yoga, it is.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

There's always pole dancing! I wish I had the energy.
