The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death

[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Prilosec OTC has been my salvation. I just had a coworker go through the exact same exerience! He started feeling much better after I recommended it. I used to take Nexium but the insurance company won't cover it, they said Prilosec was the alternative. It mostly works well. I sometimes have to augment with something for a short time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My doctor told me that Prilosec was indeed Nexium over the counter. I don't know how pharmalogically literal that is, but luckily I haven't had a need to try any other pill than the purple one.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

That was a pretty extreme way to avoid writing, Kristen. I remember life before acid reducers. It wasn't pretty. It does seem like something that painful should be killing you. So glad it wasn't your heart.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

That heartburn. It'll kill ya every time.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Ah procrastination. Seriously, glad you are ok and get yourself some Prilosec. I couldn't live without it.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Kristen, glad to hear you are ok.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Kristen, how scary! I'm glad you're okay.

Remember, remember/the fifth of November/the Gunpowder Treason and Plot/I see no reason/Why Gunpowder Treason/Should ever be forgot.

Look on the bright side Kristen, Last time I went to the emergency room, they had me wait for two hours, and it was 2-3am so it wasn't exactly crowded. And I was there under workman's comp/teamster's insurance (this was back while I was at UPS) so they had no worries about the billing. Sounds like they did the full court press with you, so it shows they it took it seriously...

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Geez Kristen! I'm glad you are okay!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

No dying by esophagus! Work avoidance really is not *that* important. So glad you're all right, Kristen.
