P-C, you're one up on me--at least you looked it up. When I lose a button, I usually just rip out the others so it's all uniform.

The Minearverse 6: Fiery Thread of Death
[NAFDA] "There will be an occasional happy, so that it might be crushed under the boot of the writer." From Zorro to Angel (including Wonderfalls, The Inside and Drive), this is where Buffistas come to anoint themselves in the bloodbath. Oh, and help us get Terriers dvds!
Hands down, the cutest Beagles in the world!
When I was doing sewing with my class year before last, they would take the thread, put it through the needle, take the two ends of the thread and knot them like the beginning of shoelaces (cross-under-pull tight) and then put tape at the end of the thread so it didn't pull all the way through. We also had a hell of a time with sewing (by hand) in anything even remotely resembling straight lines (this last was not all the children, but more than a couple)
I think it is awesome that YouTube has button sewing lessons. We aren't born knowing this stuff. (I taught my son)
But but but ... thread! Needle! Put together, then push through fabric and holes in button!
But the knots! And the order! And the tying! And the poking!

Well, they were for my pants. So the button was necessary! Especially because they were two of my favorite pantses!
Now I have to learn how to mend tears and holes.
Arrrrghhh. The cuteness, it burns!
Seriously, I'm making these little moaning noises to the computer monitor. God, those beagles are insanely cute.

You find my sartorial incompetence adorable?
God, those beagles are insanely cute.
Oh.
I think it's cute, P-C.
I love that there's a K-Ville disc on the floor behind the second beagle closeup.
