Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I would watch it on MST3K, especially with the classic cast and writers.

He worked in a satellite loading bay
Just polishing switches, to pay his way
He did his job well with a cheerful face
But his bosses didn't like him so they shot him into space

Ok, so that's really obscure....

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Defying Gravity better have beta explain why it needs this bunch of misfits together before the series goes off the air or I'll be mightily frustrated. Also Ted needs to tell people about Beta. Too many other hallucinations.

Did my attention slip during Warehouse 13, or did Myka make a quartz detector out of a walkie talkie? You can do that?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

re: Defying Gravity...

how is it you can grow a finger in space, but you cannot grow a uterus?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe you can grow a uterus back but they never bothered because she wouldn't need one anytime soon. Way to go, show, to punish her for having an abortion!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

the thing that bothers me is that it was all so unnecessary.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Ok, so that's really obscure....

Was that from their KTMA days?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

W13 -- wait, there's a QUARTZ MINE in FLORIDA?

I mean, only if there's an EVILE QUARTZ ASTEROID that landed there a couple of millenia ago or whatever.

Art Crawl!!!

So, you're saying that it was METEOR ROCK that was messing with people on Warehouse 13?

Could be, could be.

(Is there any mining in Florida at all?)

Yes, but what were the ratings for Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus and how sharp was the half-hour drop-off once everyone realized it sucked?

Years ago, I went to a thing where the head of SciFi development/programming/something spoke about the cheesy B movies they did. He said it was their bread and butter because they were super cheap to make and did well enough in the ratings with a certain demographics.

No idea how that fits in with the new SighFie image.
