I was wondering if anyone was watching it. I've already seen it, but was catching it again. Aside from this past episode--it made me sufficiently uncomfortable (the child abuse allegations more than turning the child, which I can totally see Mitchell doing) that I didn't want to see it again. But I'm back on the ride with the next ep.

I really love Being Human. Episode four was rather uncomfortable, but it looks like they're going to some interesting places next time.

I completely agree about the kid episode and not loving Annie in the beginning. And. Things pick up significantly from that point.

Having watched the entire series 3 or 4 times, the finale makes me love the previous episodes so much more than I did on first viewing. I can't think of another show for which that is true for me.

George's line about "being human" absolutely kills me. I rewind and watch it several times with each viewing.

I enjoy Being Human, but totally agree on the Annie angle. Looks like she's going to learn who she is and how to lead her life post-mortem which is...weird and sad, but there you go.

George is awesome. Sometimes, yes, he seems overly broad in his neurotic acts and responses, but overall I think he's pretty believable. I get the feeling he was Nervous Nelly before he got skritched and doggified, and his lycanthropy doesn't help.

Mitchell is odd for me. He doesn't really seem like he's been alive for a hundred years or so. It's like he was just recently turned, though I know he wasn't. He just seems so weirdly young and naive for a centenarian + vamp.

This 'progression' of Mitchell's reminds me of Godric's on True Blood. And, in a way, Angel's.

Thus: I get turned. I enjoy the hell out of being a vamp. Many neck's fall to my passion for pain. After a while, I gain self-awareness somehow (age borne wisdom, resoulification, etc.) and am appalled by the me I've become. I hate myself a lot until I come to terms with my raging self-doubt and skin condition. I become zen and learn to love everyone but myself.

Naivete? Vampirism? Adolescence? It's all the same.

I just gotta weigh in on the science in the show.

it just kills me a lot of weeks - most clearly in p brane.... it's tough when you're trying to learn the rules of a particular episode and your asking exactly what you guys were asking "Why don't I go through the floor? Why can't I walk through the walls or the elevator door?

Some are better than others and I really relish those ones - where the science is clear and correct and concise.

It's nice to hear that others have the same problems because then I don't feel so crazy when I have everyone saying "Oh stop over thinking it."

Thanks for chiming in, Colin. I've found the only way to deal with the science is to not over-think it, but that's only because I have no control over it. It's good to know that at least one person who *does* have some control is speaking up!
