Did JJ Abrams get the memo?
Yes, that's why he is credited with reviving said franchise.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I don't know if I'm buying Allison being all "shoot first". I'm sure if I thought real long and hard about it, being pregnant and being solely responsible for GD might make a person more cautious about taking risks with the towns and the planets safety, but it still feels off.
I don't see any real reason she wouldn't be, and I guess someone had to be.
I guess Subaru is taking the place of Degree this season.
I guess someone had to be
Yeah, it just feels weird it being Allison. I suppose also, she isn't a scientist, so the geeky excitement over the unknown isn't necessarily her purview. I can see that it's her job to be this way, it just feels odd.
I was charmed a bit by Tess this ep.
Loved the ending. To bad the preview gave the game away on the what and why. Way to go Syphy.
Also, they continue to not make me want Zane's death upon every instance of him being in an episode. What the fuck is up with that? Is it just my resistance (which is futile) being worn down.
Still REALLY miss Ed Quinn though, even though I get to see him on True Blood as a badass now.
I've seen Star Trek: The Motion Picture. This will not end well.
Is there a good reason an object capable of amazing acceleration couldn't just rotate 180° and decellerate itself rather than spending days remote control zombifying people to build it an electronic parachute?
I found the control of the children (ok, teenagers) reminiscent of the Children of Earth miniseries, though of course this was written and filmed before there could have been any crosspollination.
Not really, COE was very limited in what the control DID with the children. Froze them in place, had them chant stuff, plus caused one head to explode (adult). This is much more "It Came From Outer Space" with the control used to build a part the spaceship driver needed. I would swear some of the shots were deliberately playing homage to ICFOS.
I think Allison acted reasonably in her role as protector of GD and Eureka. She doesn't have the luxury of intellectual curiosity that Tess or Henry might want to indulge.
For some reason I find it incredibly distracting that the sheriff's badge has seven points. It's so irregular.
On the similar tip of things people have on their chests, I like Henry's "Mayor" patch.
