Angel: Eve. So, I guess we should, I don't know, talk? Eve: About what? Angel: About what happened back there with us. Eve: Angel, it's not like this is the first time I've had sex under a mystical influence. I went to U.C. Santa Cruz.

'Life of the Party'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Art Crawl!!!

You are welcome.

Ben Browder is developing a mini-series for Scifi involving Greek and Roman mythology.

Trust my rage

We actually had a well-known director opt out of the running for one of the last nine shows because they're a fan and would rather be surprised then learn all the secrets in advance!

This is how you know you work on a cool show. (from Verheiden's blog)

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

(although for a significantly less lame reason than "genetic sunburn" or whatever the flobotunum was that Willow used to explain her condition).

It was Tara, wasn't it?

You're probably right. I couldn't remember who it was that told her, but the stupidness of the what stayed with me. They pulled a lot of those seasons six and seven (eye of Botox, Schroedinger's Giles, etc.) - something potentially intriguing that's either dropped or gets a banal explanation. I expect that from JJ Abrahms; from Joss, NSM (though I suppose it could have been a Marti trait).

He's doing this in case there's even one tiny piece of world mythology that hasn't been abused by Stargate and Hercules.

It also sounds like he's been reading Neil Gaiman.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Browder's super-cool. I'm there.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It sounds pretty cool! I do love me some Greek mythology. Even if SciFi can't spell Ares' name properly.

I agree. It just sounded a little like American Gods to me.
