'Bushwhacked'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I just watched Torchwood Declassified - which I guess will be on the DVD.

So, the creator claims that Captain Jack has more children, and likely has "hundreds." This revelation softens the ending of Part 5 some, but inexplicably.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, good, LeN. Tell me if I hated the mini, do I want to watch the Declassified? Will it just make me angry?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I think you should watch it. Note: It has HUGE spoilers, not for anyone who hasn't seen the 5-parter.

It actually gave me better closure. I'm not sure you will feel any better about the mini, but I don't feel as depressed, if that makes any sense. There is a very nice montage for Ianto, for example that I appreciated.

I've decided that it really makes me feel good when creative people are proud of the work they have accomplished, even if I might disagree with the result.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Note: Declassified is 30 minutes.

Dana,

(off-topic)

I am reading The Tin Roof Blowdown by James Lee Burke which essentially is a murder mystery set in New Orleans right after Katrina.

If you are interested in such things, I think you'd like the book. It seems to be pretty scathing in general.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Me too. I thought him wanting to have time in his box was like time in his room. I hope we weren't telling the character goodbye. If he is DOD property though, I guess they wouldn't just let him go.

I think that it would be funny if each week featured Andy doing some different wacky job in Eureka. Like one week working at Cafe Diem, but getting fired because he refused to serve unhealthy food.

Our wings are not tired.

Finally watched Eureka! It was a delight. Agree that a continued Andy presence would be nice. He fit in quite well.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I think we'll be seeing Andy again - I mean, where ELSE is the DOD going to send a prototype like him?

SO HAPPY SHOW IS BACK YAY.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I like Vortex's Andy vision. Whatever he's doing, he's such a perfect addition to Eureka -- want moar!

(Also, have sudden urge to play with Andy/S.A.R.A.H. Sadly, all my bunnies are vidbunnies these days, and vidding a disembodied voice is ... kinda not.)

le nubian -- If Jack had said "we can't use Steven because he's my grandson; let's find a kid who's likely to die soon anyway" he would have been exactly the same as the politicians who exempted their own kids and decided to hand over the low achievers.
