Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Skimming hundreds of posts to be caught up for Eureka and this is where I catch up.
I love this thread.
eta: ooo Torchwood. I should see about that.
warehouse 13 was fun
but really I have nothing more to say than that
Torchwood, Day 3: it really was made rather explicit in this episode that, what with Jack outliving his companions and being a fixed point in time and space and all that - he's become just like the Doctor . I wonder if they'll pick up on this at some other point.
I was a bit unsure after the first episode, but for the past two I've rather liked what they've been doing. Though I do wonder if Lois will survive to join the team .
Warehouse 13: I really don't care for Mycah (wtf?), the way she's written and how the actress is playing her.
If you can trust the subtitles, her name was spelled Myka.
However it's spelled, my goodness she's whiny.
I'm hoping she'll stop whining now that she's chosen to work at the Warehouse.
Her lip work is incredibly distracting.
With Warehouse 13, I wasn't having 'Hey, it's that guy!' moments, but dozens of 'Hey, it's that show/movie!' moments.
The story wasn't strong enough to distract me from the derivative-ness of it. This isn't necessarily bad, imitation being the highest form of flattery and all, but the content will have to grow more compelling than the structure for me to stick with it.
I agree completely with the comments about Myka and the actress. Even more distracting than the aforementioned.
So frustrating!
I was right in the middle of watching Torchwood day 3...just finished part 2 and now it seems the rest of the episode has been pulled from utube. Days 1 & 2 are still up, so I don't get it.
