A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Oh dear - many apologies for not mentioning the spoiler with the link. Wasn't thinking - sorry.
Edited to add:
but I'm sure he'll pop up somewhere else soon.
He was already in the last series of
Spooks.
Likes to keep busy, I assume.
(And that reminds me: I have all four episodes of "North and South" on my PVR still to watch.... RA with sideburns in a waistcoat - mmmmm).
I lovelovelove Robin of Sherwood. I was just watching Robin Hood for Mr Thornton.
I adored Robin of Sherwood when it aired, and I still have great fondness for it, but some elements don't age well. Michael Praed's hair, for one thing. And the red filters. And the slow-mo, and the fight scenes, which are very awkward and slow in the post-Buffy television world. Still, Ray Winstone is wonderful, and I have always wondered why Judi Trott never did anything else.
My sister called me today, and got busy so she handed the phone off to my BIL, whom I started chatting Doctor Who and Torchwood with. Then, he mentioned that he had somehow accidentally ordered two sets of Eureka 3.0 and was wondering if I wanted the extra set. Hell, yeah!
Since I'm sending out a tape of Spaced, they're sending me Eureka for free. Not quite an even trade, but I'll take it!
Listening to the second Torchwood radio plaly.
The link page for all three plays is here:

I don't think I'm going to be able to listen to them in time, but perhaps somebody here can download them....
There are download links for all three parts, but they only work if you're in the UK. Grrr...

Well, it was a bit of an unsubtle hint. We have a couple of UK-based Buffistas.
Apparently one can disguise one's IP address to make it look as if it's from the UK. I've seen companies offering this sort of service, but haven't devoted any time to it myself yet. I don't normally need to, as I do get UK TV.
Anyway... part one of Torchwood: Children of Earth tonight!
I successfully downloaded the second one, I think, though I shouldn't have been able to.
Disguising an IP? Huh. I would really, truly love to watch shows and clips on BBC online and am always bummed when I get the 'not for you, upstart American!' message.
