I'm Starbuck from BSG...dorkiest vlog ever (supanova).
An Asian Australian goes to Supanova dressed as Starbuck, and one of two things happens: either someone doesn't know who she is or they know she's from BSG but assume she's Boomer because she's Asian. She's a good sport about it.
(Is Starbuck's clothing recognizably different from Boomer's? I can't remember.)
So that's a no, then.

I hope she wasn't actually surprised to be confused for Boomer or Sharon.
You know, if she's had the Starbuck haircut (I know, Kara had long hair later on, but the bob is the iconic one, IMO), I think her case would be stronger.
If she were blonde her case would be stronger. It's hard to expect people to make the hair colour leap. I always vote wig.
Saw Planet of the Dead and Being Human promos on BBC America during Primeval for July, as well as Torchwood. Looks like a bang up month.

Doctor Who does have the STRANGEST ways of celebrating Christmas. When the lethal Xmas trees from the 9th Doctor's one are the most charming option facing you (as opposed to offing Kylie Minogue or this episode's poor false Doctor's back story) you know you're in some dark territory.
Yes, I had already watched this Doctor Who, but Doctor Who on my TV! Never can resist.
