Well, not a lot of closure there, dammit. Sock almost redeemed himself, and the mythology took an interesting turn, but I now wish we got another season, Sock be damned. Maybe the syndication thing isn't entirely dead yet?

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I haven't heard anything about the outcome of the syndication efforts, but there are people around here who are a lot more connected than I am. I did enjoy that show, other than Sock, and I wish they could have played it out further.
I get the sense that they're setting Sam up to be The Messiah. I mean, he got Judased by Steve, he's being persecuted, he's dragging his friends down with him, etc.
That's a helluva note to be cancelled on.
I know! Damn, looks like they were going to do some interesting stuff. And can you imagine how perfect a Reaper/Supernatural night would be now?
if by perfect you mean "the show would be so without Sock", I'm with you.
Well, they could send Sock to hell and then we wouldn't actually have to see him. But he could text Sam.
I can't recall where I saw the preview for it...several days ago...but the Sock actor has been tagged for a sitcom called something like 'the Boys' where he fronts for some orphan kids who don't want to go into care. It's Sock with a different wardrobe and the show looks painful.
So, the chances of Sock returning were slim anyway, I guess.
eta: My bad, it's called Sons of Tucson
I heard that at least one fan who wrote a CW affiliate urging them to pick the show up in syndication was asked by the rep if he/she would watch the show if Labine's character didn't return. My response would have been "I'll be much MORE likely to watch it without him!"
