A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I can't recall where I saw the preview for it...several days ago...but the Sock actor has been tagged for a sitcom called something like 'the Boys' where he fronts for some orphan kids who don't want to go into care. It's Sock with a different wardrobe and the show looks painful.
So, the chances of Sock returning were slim anyway, I guess.
eta: My bad, it's called Sons of Tucson
Being Human coming to BBCA July 25th.
(Episode descriptions at bottom of press release.)
I heard that at least one fan who wrote a CW affiliate urging them to pick the show up in syndication was asked by the rep if he/she would watch the show if Labine's character didn't return. My response would have been "I'll be much MORE likely to watch it without him!"
I was so desperate for TV this weekend that I watched a couple episodes of
Primeval
... which really, is a good contender for stupidest characters ever. I mean, I can understand running around the British Museum when something bad is loose there, but really:
it has an excellent lighting system.
There's NO excuse to do it in the dark. Or, once you find a random scholar wandering alone, you don't let her run off to go get attacked by said Bad Thing.
Or, if your researcher tells you to go to a location that has a high probability of having an Anomaly soon, don't you think it would be a good idea to do just the tiniest bit of research on the history of the place, particularly Bad Mysterious Things that have Happened there in the past?
And really, when the copDC shows up, don't you think immediately pulling out your credentials and telling him that you're the British equivalent of Homeland Security
might
be a good idea.
(Of course, later he does show up just when you're being menaced the most and turns out to be ARMED (!!!) and shoots said Bad Thing, so I guess I should just be grateful that somewhere in your universe, it turns out that Somebody is capable of doing his job correctly.)
Sheesh. I can hardly wait to find out what else they're doing badly. They make Torchwood look professional....
That was a weird ending for Reaper.
I wonder if the League of the Well Dressed in White would have become a big part of another season. Huh.
Re: Primeval

Oh so much agreement, Theo. They really are Too Stupid To Live. Like, let's block off the anomaly with empty cardboard boxes!
OTOH, the two eps following that are slightly less dumb. Also, it looks like they're shifting the show into something more like XF or SG-1, with mythology and whatnot rather than simply random dinosaurs.
The show's a crazy show, but I find it attractive nonetheless. Slightly less so (okay, a lot) without James Murray, but enough.
I have to catch up: I'm about six episodes behind, and apparently there's been all sorts of shit going on.

yeah, new army guy isn't nearly as cute.
