A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
You folks with your non-slashy appreciation of TV are most definitely welcome
I don't want to let that fragment of sentence stand as if welcome has been granted to non-slashers. Boxed Set is now a sff thread and was discussed in those terms as early on as the merger.
What ita said. Also, the Farscape thread was mostly non-slashy even before it joined Boxed Set.
One thing I think Buffistas would really benefit from would be a change history log. When something is voted to be changed, a log is put on a page about the change. Therefore people can easily see history of board changes.

Sniff. Those were the days.
You folks with your non-slashy appreciation of TV are most definitely welcome
Gee, um, thanks. Speaking as someone who doesn't read or write fic and yet was an active member of the pre-BS Farscape thread and has been reading and posting in Boxed Set since day 1, it's so nice to know I have your approval to post here. Really, I feel so much better now.
And as ita and DX have already pointed out, the Farscape thread was never particularly slashy or ficcy, nor was the SG-1 discussion going on in whichever thread that was. The "Hey, maybe we should just have one SF/F TV thread" conversation happened very early in the "Should we merge DS/FS/Smallville?" negotiations, and most certainly predates the creation of this thread.
Jessica, I apologise unreservedly - I did feel defensive about
Due South's
right to be part of the thread being questioned, but I was also amused by how defensive I felt about it. From the tone of your post, I clearly failed
absolutely
to convey the fact that I was taking the piss out of myself with my curmudgeon tags, and I am sincerely sorry that I came across as patronising, when I really didn't mean to. Type in haste, repent at leisure.
Walks into thread and notes discussion. Remembers part in unintentionally kick-starting the SPN kefuffle. Backs away slowly.
Torchwood 2x9: On topic for this thread! The shiny
Big Gay Sex,
well not really
BGS,
but sweet
dancing anyway.
That was a
fun fun
episode. I don't like the
retcon of the families,
but really not a lot of options there. Rather concerned
about next week.
I think I'm
gonna hate
it.
