Anya: We should drop a piano on her. It always works for that creepy cartoon rabbit when he's running from that nice man with the speech impediment. Giles: Yes, or perhaps we could paint a convincing fake tunnel on the side of a mountain.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I liked T:SCC way, way more than Dollhouse, but I can't really fault Fox for pulling the plug. The T:SCC folks pissed around way too much in February and March. I had to force myself to finish some episodes.

I thought it kind of squandered the potential it displayed in the first season.

On the flip side, WHEEE! More Chuck! And I agree with and like Barb's ideas to thin the cast, but I do hope Anna stays. Out of all the Buy More crew, she has the most logical reason for still appearing, after all, being Morgan's girlfriend. I think Big Mike, as amusing as he was, could definitely be knocked down to a guest appearance or two, max. Same with the general and Emmett.

Great Chuck news. I just hope to budget cuts don't hurt too glaringly.

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

FOX upfronts: Terminator dead. Sorry.

Sad, but not unexpected. I am in the 'if I like it, it won't last' club.

I do hope the actors get more opportunities.

Thomas Dekker, as much as people didn't like the John character, really is an actor. Have you seen him in interviews? That voice! High-pitched and anxious...not John at all.

And I really did love BAG's work. Reminds me of how Patrick Dempsey and John Cryer were relegated to teen idol status in the 80's and have now made good. Kudos.

Just seen first writer response. They're moving to Fringe as they just landed a job on it. FOX and Warners kept them completely in the dark, they read it on Variety. Josh says it's not being shopped to other networks.

I think Summer may be doing a Joss project shortly. Thomas is movie'ing. And gettin' naked. [link]

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

They're moving to Fringe as they just landed a job on it.

Well, that's good that they got gigs! And on a show I already watch and that's been improving, which will only be improved more by their presence.

FOX and Warners kept them completely in the dark, they read it on Variety.

Yeah, that's fucking lame.

I saw that possibly drunken thank-you to the fans he posted to Youtube and my immediate thought was "If his manager was so paranoid about his image back when he was on Heroes, she's going to need a defibrillator when she sees this!"

I thought towards the end of the season they started showing John being JOHN CONNOR. It made for a nice arc from emo boy to resistance leader.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I agree. I was frustrated at how long it took to get any growth for his character, but I really liked where they were going towards the end.

Oh gosh, me too.

I thought they did a great, if laborious, job developing that character.
