John Noble was just heartbreaking as Walter breaking down in the restaurant.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Thanks, all. DAMN, am I sorry I missed the last minute or so. Will watch tonight online.
Very happy "Fringe" was renewed. It's gone from being a fun distraction to one of my favorites very quickly.

While investigating Fringe (I have not heard of this, but you guys have piqued my curiosity), I noticed that a fansite responded to the Tivo issue with a little present: [link]
So, those nice people at Fox decided not to cancel a show? It's like a gift from the gods. (*mutter mutter grumble grumble evil nasty genius-show-cancelling Joss-screwing idiots*)
Oh, Fringe started off slowly and has done nothing but get better and better all through the season.

Broke me. Fringe is Walter for me. The joy he expressed over his son making him a gift had me all misty eyed too.

Oh yeah. He's a great study in remorse -- he's doen some horrible things in the past, and he wants so very much to make up for them, but his sanity is tenuous at best, his memory is spotty, and he's so very lost. What a magnificent character. The fact that he can be all of this and still be exuberent with joy most of the time, and have the dichotomy be believable, is a testament to Noble's mad acting skills. (Quite literally, I suppose.)
P-C, I think we need a more complete description....
Heh, but that's all there was! The door opens and BANG. End of episode.

Yeah, that scene in the restaurant made me realize what a great character he really is.
She reaches her floor, gets out of the elevator and 4-5 masked men with guns are there to greet her.
did they shoot her, or just menace her with the guns?
There was a "thwippp" kind of noise, so something was shot at her -- I'm guessing a dart of some kind?
