Broke me. Fringe is Walter for me. The joy he expressed over his son making him a gift had me all misty eyed too.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Oh yeah. He's a great study in remorse -- he's doen some horrible things in the past, and he wants so very much to make up for them, but his sanity is tenuous at best, his memory is spotty, and he's so very lost. What a magnificent character. The fact that he can be all of this and still be exuberent with joy most of the time, and have the dichotomy be believable, is a testament to Noble's mad acting skills. (Quite literally, I suppose.)

right, there was a silencer kind of noise and a thump, so I think we are supposed to think she was shot with something. The screen was black for all of it.

Just watched on Hulu. I think that the thwipp was the silencer, not a dart. Although it could have been.
Any one else think that Harris may have been talking to Bell when he was immolated? He said "let me talk to him" (Hate that! My old boss's wife would call and say "is he there?")

My love of Fringe is all about Walter. He's so fun to watch, even when he is wistfully remembering a horrible experiment he did. I also love his random food cravings.
