In retrospect, I have no issues with the characters' storyline resolutions. Life goes on for these people, without the Doctor. And life goes on for the Doctor, without real companionship. It will always be so. He even had to watch River Song die.
I just wish Billie Piper had worked out how to talk like Rose.

I agree, she deserved better. I felt as torn apart at the conclusion of Journey's End as I was when Nine regenerated.
