A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

I think writers often have a difficult time creating a virtuous character who is interesting.
I mean Neo was perhaps the least interesting character in the Matrix trilogy
The Wachowskis did fine by Morpheus, and he was plenty virtuous. Of course, he was also played by Lawrence Fishburne as opposed to Keanu, but I think at least a small share of the difference was already on the page.
If I ever have a daughter, I'll name her Haggith. And then I'll teach her to fight.
If you name her Haggith, her classmates will take care of the teaching her to fight part for you.

But also batshit crazy, which helps with the interesting.
I'm more or less okay with David being boring at this juncture, because we need at least one character in there who isn't harboring a Deep Dark Sooper-Seekrit.

The only thing I wish was that they had gotten Albert Brooks for the Chevy Chase role so there could be a big Ken Scorpio shout out.
And here I was thinking it would've been perfect if they could've gotten Dean Stockwell for the Chevy Chase role.
Dang, though, you forget how freakin' big all the main guys on that show are until you get someone of normal size like Scott Bakula around them.

Ha! Yeah, that works too.
Also, Adam Baldwin makes it frighteningly convincing that it would take three tranq darts to take him down, though his little moments of tranq euphoria were also priceless.
