Even though the stupid preview last week kinda gave the game away, he really sold me on the "crazy, paranoid dad" thing.
The only thing I wish was that they had gotten Albert Brooks for the Chevy Chase role so there could be a big Ken Scorpio shout out.
And here I was thinking it would've been perfect if they could've gotten Dean Stockwell for the Chevy Chase role.
Dang, though, you forget how freakin' big all the main guys on that show are until you get someone of normal size like Scott Bakula around them.

Also, Adam Baldwin makes it frighteningly convincing that it would take three tranq darts to take him down, though his little moments of tranq euphoria were also priceless.
How tall is AB?
He's 6'4", Zach Levi is 6'4", and Ryan McPartlin is 6'3".
IMDB lists Scott Bakula as 6' even.
Adam Baldwin being tranqed was HILARIOUS. Also, Casey and Sarah undercover at the RIOS launch. Something about the way that they ran when they were moving from the crowd to the main part of the building.
I thought that Scott Bakula was excellent as Chuck and Ellie's dad. (Did you notice that Bakula and Levi have the same eyebrows?)
Also, I loved how Jeff and Lester pitched in creating mayhem when Chuck was trying to escape from the auditorium with the remote.
Adam Baldwin being tranqed was HILARIOUS.
I think he managed to top the hilariousness of his similar scene in The Train Job.
I loved how as Chuck ran up the stairs Casey was still reaching up to try to stop him.
Do we talk about Lost in Austen here? I mean, it's definitely fantasy!
I really enjoyed the first episode and Florence Hoath who played Nancy in "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances" plays Kitty.
I loved Casey's indignation at Chuck only pointing a tranq gun at him-- so very Casey.
