Jessica, I completely concur. They could have even cut to the present day scene from that, and it still wouldn't make me writhe in despair.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Jessica - yes, that would be better. Then we wouldn't have to imagine how doomed they all are.
I realized after going to bed that that ending would have cut off both Roslin's death scene and Starbuck's brief goodbye, so those would have had to be moved up. But basically, in my version of the finale, we do not spend half a fucking hour listening to Lee wax philosophical about how TEKNOLOGIE IZ TEH EVAL.
I wonder if the guys at Zoic have a version of that scene where he spontaneously combusts in the middle of that speech.

I want to watch your version. I've been saving my recorded episodes to watch a second time down the road, maybe I'll actually cut the finale to make it better.
The whole Luddite vibe didn't work for me, I would think about 37,800 people would elect to go for the shelter, running water, and electricity.
Cut out Starbuck and Lee's scene right before the magical raptor ride, then cut to Adama on the ridge talking about the cabin. Then cut to Lampkin talking about building a city. Then just cut it right before Lee opens his mouth and dooms the people of the 12 colonies.
I wonder what happened to Kara's mystery Viper. Did it just disappear too?
Did anyone ever see any hint through the series that they had put together a giant task force to prepare to live on another planet? If I were in charge, that would be very high on my to-do list.
One other nitpick, a million light-years away isn't in the galaxy, it's in nowhere, middle of empty space, nada.
I love Ginger. I want to be stranded with her after an apocalypse.
I feel a bit odd cutting in like this, but is anyone else interested in talking about Kings?
I will talk Kings with you. I thought last night's ep moved a bit too slowly. I think the pacing is off with this show.
I keep enjoying it somewhat against my will. The previews keep making it look banal but it impresses me.
I'm trying to figure out what Michelle's Shameful Secret is but haven't had any luck.
Also, I went to the Bible, thinking, Michelle is not a biblical name, and lo! David married Saul's second daughter, Michal!
(Why did they change the king's name, though? That's very confusing.)
