That line cracked me up.
'Out Of Gas'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I thought the Lee bird scene was his returning home after the dinner with Kara and Zak, because his "double-dog dare you" line sounded like he was echoing something funny that had happened between the three of them. The bird could be a lot of things, and after reading a lot of TWOP, I think it was all of the things that have been suggested: Kara, death, freedom, the desire for flight in both senses, the thing -whatever- that is always just out of reach for him.
Is anyone else watching Ashes to Ashes on BBCA?

Agreed. I think, in a lot of ways, I lean toward the scene being set after Zack's death, as so much of the flashbacks seem to be about the characters' past dealings with loss and family, but it really works for all of the above.

I watched it last year when it aired. I don't know when the second season airs in England.
I caught some of A2A last night, and liked it enough to set the TiVo to record it. I never warmed to Sam Tyler, and sort of feel sorry for Gene Hunt who seems to attract seriously crazy coworkers.
No kidding!
And yet he handles it remarkably well, all things considered. (Maybe he just believes that everyone is crazy anyway.)
LoM- US coming to dvd on September 29th.
There is a BSG Ballet!
A2A-I am really liking the chemistry between Alex and Gene. I also like that the raging misogynist is a bit mellower than last time.
