Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How did Daniel get to the colonies? Weren't all the others deliberately placed?

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

Oh that would explain the vision!Dad. He put himself in her mind!

Cavill could have kept him on ice and inserted when he sent the others.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Boomer was REALLY insistent that Hera drink from the bottle as she hurried out of the nursery -- I'm supposing that it had sleepy stuff in it, to keep her quiet during loading.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

But why would Cavill tolerate the existence of a model he hated so much? I thought the point was to eliminate all traces of him?

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Would have taken away from Hera's special place in the universe, but wouldn't have had me thinking "Oh, fuck you Galen" during all of the projection sequences.

Yeah, I had that same problem. Perhaps I could buy it if they'd given him a few minutes of screen time justifying to himself how all the blows of his recent history made him unlikely to be an acceptable dad to anyone.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Athena's mouth was bound.

Even so, noises are still possible, and she was close enough that even a small throat-sound could be heard. I suppose I'll go with the idea that she was really really out of it to the point that Athena didn't realize in the moment who was outside the closet and that she had no cognizance that she herself was in pain or bound. Especially given how out of it she still was when she found Helo.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I was surprised that Boomer's jump could do so much damage to a ship that has withstood nuclear explosions. I think rather than radiant energy, the damage from being too close to a jump is from space itself distorting to fill the suddenly absent volume and yanking nearby objects (or parts of objects) along with it.

Does make coordinating jumps with dozens of nearby spaceships a more impressive feat.

Our wings are not tired.

It seems likely that the ship isn't going to make it. Poor sad Galactica.

Blind optimist that I am, I am convincing myself that since we all expect the series to end with a massive amount of pain and hopelessness that we will be pleasantly surprised.

The last look of the pianist to Kara was so fatherly. I really liked those scenes a lot. Of course, the music has always been on the top of the list of things I like about this show so the more the better. (couldn't bring myself to say merrier)

Art Crawl!!!

There was another thign that was said earlier - something about a "lab". Not the resurrection hub. Maybe that's where the Daniel came from.

On the other hand he was a Head!PapaThrace - someone Kara needed to talk to much as Head!Six and Head!Baltar are people Baltar and Caprica needed - were they all Daniel? I thought that we didn't believe that the visions that Sam was talking about were Daniel.
