Actually, it's been driving me crazy for ages. Ask my wife if you don't believe me. When the almost-Final Four wee revealed I was like, "What? Still no Seven?" I think I even suspected at one point that the Sevens had been boxed. But gone works, too. Except ...

Who wrote the prophecies of Pythia? Who built the Statues of the Five? Who brought Starbuck back, and what's all this prophecy stuff around her?

A surviving "Seven" (Whether it's Starbuck, Starbuck's dad or what not) may go a long way toward answering some of those questions.

I am the opposite of Victor in that the math problem of Sharon being an eight and the Final Five equalling thirteen never even entered my brain. Which I find sort of frightening but mostly just really hilarious.

I don't think we've met Daniel yet, and I do think there will be a Starbuck connection.

I hope there's something that comes out of the Starbuck situation payoff, because I still mourn the pilot whose body went up in flames on that pyre. (Hee, I initially typed byre, which is apparently a cow barn and therefore a whole different vibe.)

I'm convinced that we discussed the odd math of the final five and Sharon as an 8 back a while ago. And yet I am not quite up to searching.

So I couldn't resist and searched a bit through Boxed Set III and found some interesting insight into the final five when first introduced a couple years ago.

Right now, I mostly find it interesting because there is a "final five." There are 12 in all, but Sharon/Boomer/Athena is number 8 -- which does seem to point to the direction that the numbering may not be in chronological order. I'm wondering Cavil through Boomer are numbers 2 through eight, and if Tigh through Tory are numbers 9 through 12 and if the last to be revealed will be number 1.

There was more mathy discussion, but those stood out to me. And Go Cindy with calling Chief's non daddy status.

Heh. I wonder whether I skipped that or read it and forgot. Well, it was two years ago, so I can forgive myself either way.

Did we talk about the possibility that the Head! characters are Daniel?

I'm not sure, but I do recall reading a spoiler about one and/or the other.
