Dee, Feliz, Zarek, Laird, Skulls (he did buy it, right?), the Quorum (I count them as one), and maybe others whose names I didn't know because I'm bad at it since the final eps started is what gave me that feeling. But, yeah, they can't keep going at this rate.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
And yet - unless Sam is dead they didn't kill one Cylon, did they?
And yet - unless Sam is dead they didn't kill one Cylon, did they?
Some revolution...
So did the ex-Chief find damage to the jump drive? Will upgrading to Cylon FTL fix that, or is it too late?
I thought it was damage to the ship's hull. I'm not sure that anything can fix it and if so - it probably means that the ship should be in dry dock while being fixed. (Whatever dry dock means for a space ship.)
For really truly recognizable character deaths, I count Dee, Gaeta and Zarek. Potentially Anders (with an equally potential comeback). The others don't ping me as readily, easily recognizable characters, even if they've been on the show for awhile. Tertiary but regular characters like Kelly or Connor or even Racetrack, they don't ping me. Frankly, Scarlet, they're just not that important for me to care.
Now, I've always liked Racetrack and wished she'd been given a larger role and thought she had way more potential than Dee, but if she died, whatev.
They're wrapping the show up, what else should I expect? Roslin, Adama, Lee, Starbuck, Tigh, Gaeta, Dee, Anders, Tyrol, etc. should have been dead long before now. I get that possibly they're easing us into it. (of course, if all the pretty core people survive to the bitter pre-movie-end, then that'll be another discussion.)
C'mon...the entire Quorum has to count for, like, one person.
Okay, the Quorum I will grant you as cleaning house.
But I'm okay with that. Unless the next six episodes deal with establishing a new Quorum.
Mo Ryan of the Tribune on tonight's BSG. The interview with the writer is interesting, but I love what she says about the episode after the interview, especially about how the entire ep is about "the tragedy of Felix Gaeta." Definitely worth the read!
She also pointed out some stuff I missed, like how after Romo took out the guard, he went through the guy's pockets and got his sunglasses back.
I couldn't tell what it was that he took.
At the beginning of the episode I was thinking how sad it would be if after all this the only final four Cylon left standing was Tory.
The rebel Cylons are going all hippy - that Six that Baltar wound up in bed with and the Two that figured out how to circumvent the jammed radio signals in particular.
I am soooo clinging to the Law of Fictional Character Death right now: they didn't *show* it!
Oh, my Felix. He's just keeps doing the wrong thing for the right reasons.
