Sir? I'd like you to take the helm, please. I need this man to tear all my clothes off.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

For really truly recognizable character deaths, I count Dee, Gaeta and Zarek. Potentially Anders (with an equally potential comeback). The others don't ping me as readily, easily recognizable characters, even if they've been on the show for awhile. Tertiary but regular characters like Kelly or Connor or even Racetrack, they don't ping me. Frankly, Scarlet, they're just not that important for me to care.

Now, I've always liked Racetrack and wished she'd been given a larger role and thought she had way more potential than Dee, but if she died, whatev.

They're wrapping the show up, what else should I expect? Roslin, Adama, Lee, Starbuck, Tigh, Gaeta, Dee, Anders, Tyrol, etc. should have been dead long before now. I get that possibly they're easing us into it. (of course, if all the pretty core people survive to the bitter pre-movie-end, then that'll be another discussion.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

C'mon...the entire Quorum has to count for, like, one person.

Okay, the Quorum I will grant you as cleaning house.

But I'm okay with that. Unless the next six episodes deal with establishing a new Quorum.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Mo Ryan of the Tribune on tonight's BSG. The interview with the writer is interesting, but I love what she says about the episode after the interview, especially about how the entire ep is about "the tragedy of Felix Gaeta." Definitely worth the read!

She also pointed out some stuff I missed, like how after Romo took out the guard, he went through the guy's pockets and got his sunglasses back.

Art Crawl!!!

I couldn't tell what it was that he took.

At the beginning of the episode I was thinking how sad it would be if after all this the only final four Cylon left standing was Tory.

The rebel Cylons are going all hippy - that Six that Baltar wound up in bed with and the Two that figured out how to circumvent the jammed radio signals in particular.

when i die, please bake my ashes into a brick and use me to hit fascists.

I am soooo clinging to the Law of Fictional Character Death right now: they didn't *show* it!

Oh, my Felix. He's just keeps doing the wrong thing for the right reasons.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

The ep just blew me away in so many different ways, with great character moments for all involved.

These episodes were SO worth waiting for.

Did KFC change their promotion from Frak Pak to Can't-say-fr*k-on-TV (pronounced "can't say that word on TV")? Is it the same one, or a new one?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I didn't love this week as much as last, but DAYUM. Remind me never to piss off Laura Roslin or Bill Adama. They will CUT YOU.

I'm assuming Anders survives. We last saw him still barely alive and on his way to the infirmary, and I just can't see them killing off a Final Five (a) offscreen and (b) right before Ellen comes back to explain everything.

They do still have the resurrection bathtubs, just not the backend infrastructure that makes them work. But maybe Ellen can explain that too.

Our wings are not tired.

BSG was a world of awesomeness. Good stuff.

Tyrol's a big damn hero. Zarek - wow his Evil was more Evil than anticipated. Noooo, Anders! (not dead)

I did feel sad for Gaeta. He wasn't always deserving of death like Zarek. I'll miss him.

Won't miss the Quorum, the annoying fools. But, that was quite the surprise to kill 'em all.

Looking forward to Ellen's return, in particular the Tigh & Ellen show. They serve up a bit of sick comic relief.

I'm anticipating some tear inducing loving scenes for Bill & Laura before her death. That better be the last episode!
