'Objects In Space'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I strongly suspect Ellen isn't the Fifth. It's not enough of a surprise, given that she's already dead. Also, the only one to whom she's important is Tigh, and there's a very good chance he's dead.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Still and all, it does fit an apparent tendency for even unaware Cylons to seek each other out - Boomer and Tyrol, Anders and whateverthehell Starbuck is, Tigh and Ellen.

But I agree, I don't see how you bring Ellen back with no Tigh around and have it mean anything. And we've already seen that Tigh has episodes where he has trouble distinguishing between Ellen and Six.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Maybe Ellen's a Six.

No, this is not an elegant theory.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

That line about clawing reminds me of Yeats "Slouching Toward Bethlehem".

Also, who the heck is Narcho? I keep picturing one of the PCH gang from Veronica Mars (was his name Nardo?) but I know that isn't it. I don't think I have watched the episodes and talked about them enough to keep track of the minor characters.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Chardo.

I don't think I have watched the episodes and talked about them enough to keep track of the minor characters.

Me neither.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I dunno--I think having anyone other than Ellen be the fifth is overthinking it. BSG doesn't lie, does it? I mean, it doesn't have a history of presenting information like that and changing it later.

I type that and then think of them retconning Nicky's parentage, but you know what I mean--a deliberate misdirect of the facts.

Art Crawl!!!

Narcho is a Viper jockey. He may even be the CAG now. (Although, Helo may also be the cAG - this has been confusing for a while.)

He was originally on Pegasus. He was the pilot that confronted Starbuck when they were evacuating C-deck.

ETA: Correcting the link. Sometimes when I "copy" it doesn't. Sorry about that.

Sumi- nI think I remember. However, I am giggling because your link takes me to a picture of Eliza Dushku on Tim's facebook page!

Yeah, that's why I corrected it but nothing moves fast with my computer.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Narcho is the cute dude from Second Wave (and here I'd been thinking all this time that his name was Pike) and the one who shrugged off Starbuck and said "we don't even know what you are anymore". And was also the cocky cop in TXF's "Home". The one who... lost his head.
