I dunno--I think having anyone other than Ellen be the fifth is overthinking it. BSG doesn't lie, does it? I mean, it doesn't have a history of presenting information like that and changing it later.
I type that and then think of them retconning Nicky's parentage, but you know what I mean--a deliberate misdirect of the facts.

So, does Gaeta live? I think he can buy it without being martyred, and I can't see him and Kara both living to see the end of the series. Right now who I want to die most is Seelix, since I thought her whole bit to Anders was remarkably despicable. Sometimes it is personal, sweetie.
Right - but the scene that Baltar mentioned with the pen was in season 3 - before the trial.
Yep, it was, so the purgery isn't what Baltar was talking about, which is knowable whether or not one has seen the webisodes. I'm just saying to megan walker that the secret really is revealed in the webisodes, though that doesn't mean that they won't reveal it in the show at some point. I get the "don't want to have to have watched the webbies," but they really were kind of informative. Don't know that I'd call it a major plot point, though. Just deepens the understanding of Felix's motivations, I think.
God, yes, Seelix was just horrible. Blech.
I don't think Tigh or Adama is dead. We'll see. I do think Ellen is the Fifth. I still have no freakin' clue about Starbuck.
